Sewing magazine with a surprise

Some time ago I bought this magazine.

I liked the top on the cover, just flipped through the pages and decided to buy it.

It wasn't until I got home that I realized those were Simplicity patterns! (Even though it's clearly visible on the front page...)

How cool is that?

On clothes and sentiments attached While at my parent's house Mother and I cleaned up the closets. She finally decided to do it. Afterward, I realized I never saw the shelves so bare. But I felt lighter. There was a ton of stuff to be given away. Not all to the Red Cross! I brought back some. To give away or to refashion. Z joked that we needed a bigger car...:-) These are clothes to refashion. What I'm not showing here are the five bags of clothes to be given away. There were six.
