The pattern was too short so I added a band to the bottom, and a small flower applique. I love the shape of the skirt. It really looks like a tulip now!
Do you think it needs a lining?
Detail of the applique:
I used invisible thread to sew it on.
So, that's the second skirt for my mini wardrobe. Right now it seems that it's more versatile than the green 'cause when I decided to try to put together a few looks - it was easy. What do you think?
Pretty color! I like it with the paisley top, and wouldn't the green skirt go with that top, too? I LOVE turquoise with white, so summery!

Model suknje mi se sviđa,a posebno cvjetić; meni bi više odgovarala neka druga boja npr. zelena jer ne nosim plavo. Uz zeleno super idu sve tvoje kombinacije. Pusa od Marije.
Green skirt is better for me!

Fabulous skirt -- I love the color and the outfits you've made around it. As for your lining question, it seems that the fabric is kind of clingy and will show your panty line... if that bothers you, a lining would be a good idea.

You could always decide to wear a slip, if you are unsure about the lining.
I love the turqoise skirt, perfect summer colour!

Yes, Karin, you are right. Right now I think a slip would be the best choice.
Im glad you all like the skirt!!

lovely skirt, i like how there are pleats in the front but the back is still uncluttered! i made the burdastyle marie skirt earlier this year and the pleats in the rear make me a bit crazy ;) pretty color!
