I made the dress version about a month ago, but had trouble with the sleeves insertion anyway. Which involved ripped seams and hand sewing to finish. Maybe it was written in the directions how to properly do it, but I don't understand german, heh. I wore it once before with a long sleeved shirt underneath. Now I'm waiting for warmer weather to see how it wears alone and if it should be taken in on the sides.
I found a peach colored piece of fabric in the stash . I'd love to make a high waisted skirt to pair with this top.
That's a great design.

Cute top! And if you ever find yourself in the situation that you need some translations of German instructions in Burda, I would be happy to translate for you.

Thanks, very kind of you, Karin!
Faye, this really is a nice pattern. It reminds me of Renaissance garments. I'm now considering a shirt without the puffy sleeves, using the undersleeve pattern piece as the main, or even leaving it sleeveless, because I like the bodice construction.
