Throughout the years I've given away a number of issues that would equal a third of this pile...
Now, recently we had a new addition to our household. His name is Epson Stylus Photo PX710W and I'm in love! Printer, scanner and photocopier - all in one. Works like magic. And I have a plan! I'm going to record all my sewing magazines with front page and pattern index. I will not have to take them all off the shelves every time I'm looking for inspiration ever again! Just go through the folders. Ahhh...I think it's going to take me a few months to do that...How many issues are there anyway??
Oh, I love seeing someone who has piles of pattern magazines as big as mine :-)
I think it would be very practical to scan those pattern indexes indeed. Especially when you are searching for a specific pattern. On the other hand, I must admit, I like flipping through those magazines. It's inspiring. And relaxing. And thrilling at the same time. Oh my. I guess it's kind of like a drug to me :-D

Oh, yes! I have to admit that I love that too! A lot!
Oh, I wish I had someone closer to share the love...And, maybe, go fabric shopping with, too...

That looks like an undertaking. :) I've wanted to have digital images of my patterns, too. I should put that scanner I got for Christmas to work.

Girl, I aspire. I've only been getting BWOF since July 2009. I like the whole scanning idea. I actually have a large d-ring binder. I copy the front cover page and the 2 schematic pages. That way I can just flip through the pages to see what I want to make.
