I made three headbands.
Yeah. Excuse the drunk look. Rosey cheeks and all. (Actually the photo looks pretty good. Blured but good. Taken randomly with the phone.)
Why do I look like that, you ask?
Well, I officially hate this time of the year. In addition to be allergic to something all year round there comes the time of a certain plant, I'm not even going to mention, that just runs over me like a train. This year it hit me particularly badly. Barely breathing. I got a ton of medicaments and ultimately an injection. If this one doesn't help there is no hope for you J said. :-)) Did that help? Well I can breathe much better BUT I'v got a rush, which means an allergic reaction (???) to the injection! I've been loughing at myself all day long. This is totally hilarious, ha! I'm not leaving the house. Indefinitely.
Now you know why I haven't been doing anything smart or creative lately. Last week I thought I would just lay down and fall asleep until mid October. Or rather die. If you happen to be heavily allergic to something that includes constricted breathing, you know what I mean.
Enough of that already, yes? I'm not really into rants.
So, the huuge achievement of the day. A whole three headbands. Might be a good start for the return of mojo and inspiration.
Made the flower, too.
September starts tomorrow. Including Self Stitched September. Hm..Right now I don't know if I'll be able to make it. Will try, though. With the remnants in my closet...And no real perspective of sewing something anytime soon. Or maybe I will. Who knows. I'm fast and effective. Yes I am. :-)
On the other hand of having trouble with one challenge I got me another. I joined CCS for the Thirty Days of Creating. Well, I find this a lot less challenging, though. You're supposed just to create every day. One little thing. Whatever suits you. Five or fifteen minutes. Only, every day. I felt inspired and empowered to do that after my tragic past weeks.
There are other side effects to the medicine I'm taking. Can't eat and can't sleep. And a curious one - I actually found words somewhere inside my brain to write an eloquent post! Well, you might not share my enthusiasm for this blogpost, but I find it to be my second big achievement of the day!
Ok, ok, going now...
