Wardrobe refashion - The pledge

I Barbara Jugovac pledge that I shall abstain from the purchase of "new" manufactured items of clothing, for the period of 6 months. I pledge that I shall refashion, renovate, recycle preloved items for myself with my own hands in fabric, yarn or other medium for the term of my contract. I pledge that I will share the love and post a photo of my refashioned, renovated, recycled, crafted or created item of clothing on the Wardrobe Refashion blog, so that others may share the joy that thy thriftiness brings!

Wow, six months? I could barely do three! I never buy new things, but when I signed up, I suddenly wanted several new things. Torture!

You can always find new stuff at the thrift store. Sending you a ton of encouragement!

My advantage is that I rarely find something suitable to wear anywhere. Seems like they only sell clothes fos xxs sized teenagers. Or xxl grandmothers. I love the fact that I get to making my own clothes! After these 6 months ( that will make a whole year of WR) I think Im going to pledge for life. Now that I think about it...why havent I done it already???
