Winter

Oh yes, it has been snowing around here, too, with temperatures waay below zero. Someone told me it was -17C this morning !

Ugh, I don't like cold!!!

I don't like the cold either, but the spring time where I live is beautiful... The photo you've posted looks just as my neighborhood does right now. Snowy and cold! Nice to stay inside and sew. :)

Creases solution Getting back to the brown trousers...yes, the creases bothered me. So I thought about them, wore the pants, looked, pulled, pinched, and - aha! There is too much fabric there! Oh, my derriere is rather flat, let's admit and face it. See? Already looking better. Well, it's not perfect since I pinned myself, but at least now I know what I have to do to alter the paper pattern. There are two great tutorials for flat seat adjustment here (Ann Rowley) and here (Debbie Cook) for removing excess fabric from the back legs.

Shawl for grandma The pattern is based on a doily pattern. I hope to finish crocheting it in a day or two. My Grandmother's birthday is on Christmas day and I soo want to give her this present! She is the one who taught me to crochet and knit when I was a child, and I remember her wearing shawls back then. I know she's going to love it!
