My first refashion ever - sweater refashion

Look what I found in my closet! I love this sweater so much I still keep it.

I remember using a Burda pattern to transform a polo sweater I got from someone. It was so many years ago I don't even remember when. This is in fact a refashion from the last century, hehe!

 

Don't you just love the collar?

The shoulders and back are modeled by darts. Nowadays the patterns for knits tend not to have darts, but the fit is so much butter when they are present, isn't it?

All the edges were finished with crochet.

 

 

The roses were knitted and then sewed on.

Aaah, what a delightful rediscovery!

This is fantastic. I have a few turtle necks to transform into probably boat necks, but I am not sure how to go about this.
